The Yahgan Black series fry pan is high quality, non-stick and best of all i live that the materials are non toxic. I'd love ir in the nect size up as well so i can keep replacing my pans.
I'm learning how to cook with cast iron skillets. The Yahgan Classic has been a great skillet to use. The fact that it came pre-seasoned meant that I could just start cooking without having to go through the difficult process of removing a protective coating and seasoning the pan, Thank you for that!
I absolutely love this pan, it’s really good and it absolutely live up to my expectations. It heats up Well, when cleaning it is easy. It sears and fries well. In the beginning I had some sticking, but I expected that since I previously only had non stick pans, but once I mastered heat control, sticking went away. This is my favourite pan, and I will buy a smaller and a bigger pan in the series. The only issue I have is that the handle is sharp around the edges and it leaves a red mark in my hand and a little discomfort. This pan has been in almost daily use and it has become my go to pan. The heating distrbution of this pan is wonderful also. I love this pan and I highly recommend this pan to others.
After a crazy finish to 2025, and a resolution to having a healthier home in 2026, I opened and used my Yaghan pan for the first time.
To start, it looks great. I figured that even if it doesn't perform, it would look the part in my kitchen
I heated it up - trialled some eggs. No problems there, cooked perfectly fine. I probably hadn't oiled/buttered the base sufficiently so I got a little worried that cleaning off the residual egg was going to be an issue. So here was the big test.....and absolutely no issue to clean at all. Came straight off!
So I'm happy. Great looking pan, cooks well and no problem cleaning it. It's top of the pecking order amongst all my pans.
